Award-winning fleet management provider BT Fleet will change its name to BT Fleet Solutions at its industry-leading annual event, Industry Fleet Forum, at the iconic BT Tower in London, next week (Thursday 14 September).
Henry Brace, Fleet Solutions managing director, said: "This is an important change for us as it reflects our aim to work as one with BT Group and other businesses in our division, producing scaled benefits of being part of a wider organisation for our customers. The relationship we are establishing with the group companies, such as EE, Pelipod and Supply Chain is expanding our technological offerings and we see remit to work with other businesses within the group to enhance our products and field service solutions."
As well as benefitting from being part of the wider BT Group, the Fleet Solutions name change reflects its increasing technological capabilities providing real-time data and telematics, its nationwide network of 64 garages and 42 mobile technicians, as well as the capabilities it has around managing risk, engineering, and vehicle procurement.
The Industry Fleet Forum is a networking event for industry leaders to gather and discuss key issues in the market and the future of fleet management. Delegates will receive updates on Fleet Solutions' key developments and plans for the future, as well as results of its second Operational Fleet Report.
The Operational Fleet Report, produced in partnership with the AA, provides readers with a well-rounded, horizon-scanning view of the industry and also considers sector-specific concerns and what each market will require from its fleet in the future. As part of the evidence base for the report, Fleet Solutions and the AA engaged market research consultancy Populus to survey operational fleet managers and decision makers to gain a full range of insights and views – it carried out 36 in-depth interviews and received 514 survey responses.
